Music City Architect designs homes, additions, interiors, renovations and commercial buildings in Nashville and across Middle Tennessee, from a single room to a whole building.
A good building starts with a good plan and clear drawings. Rooms have to work for the people who use them, the structure has to be sound, the rules have to be met and the builder has to be able to price and build what is drawn. That means listening first, writing the plan in plain words, telling you early when something changes and giving honest advice about renovation, addition or new construction.
We start with your site and your goals, not a template. A busy family, a retiree, a restaurant owner and a developer need different answers, and our advice is about what suits your property, your habits and your budget, including keeping what you already have when that is the right answer.
Every project starts with a conversation and a careful look. We examine the property or building, talk through goals, rules and budget and study what exists. You receive a written scope that lists the phases, the deliverables, the consultants, the meetings and the schedule, so you can approve it or compare it with any other proposal. We keep records of decisions and share drawings clearly. At the end we walk through the finished work with you. One contact schedules your project and stays reachable afterward. We are independent and work with the builders and consultants you choose.
